The book was very simple to read. The thing is is what works for one person isn’t a cure all for everyone else. If it helps some people fantastic. But if your anxiety problems are really complex this book alone won’t help or may not help at all.

This book gives the reader a vivid description of the life-stealing realities of panic attacks and agoraphobia. Rafe doesn’t stop there, even if. He outlines his own journey to take back control over his life. Instead of turning to medication, he used simple, yet powerful strategies to recover. As a counselor, I recognized many of the strategies that Rafe successfully used. I will certainly recommend this book to anyone I work with who is struggling with high anxiety, panic attacks or agoraphobia.

This book does a wonderful job of describing what it’s like to go owing to a panic hit. It also gives many strategies for how to overcome them without using medication. I used a combination of medication and the suggestions from the book since my specific case was medically caused. I’m pleased to say that I am now not using the meds and only using the strategies suggested! I also shared this book with my family members that didn’t know what I was going owing to. After reading the first section, they had a much clearer understanding of panic attacks and were much more sympathetic towards me!

This is a fantastic book for me because I can relate to the author. Some of the things he describes are exactly what I’m feeling. I’m using the deal with he describes when fighting off a panic hit. It’s getting simpler to deal with panic attacks now. I’m looking forward to the day when panic attacks will be gone forever. Thanks for sharing your tale.

Of all the books I’ve read on panic disorders, this was by far the simplest one for me to connect with. The author’s style of writing made me feel as even if he was an ancient friend having a conversation with me. As a sufferer of panic attacks, I felt like this book most accurately captured how I feel when panic sets in. The book was such an simple read, I passed it along to my family, and they found it very helpful. The author delivers his message in plain English. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has any experience with panic disorders.
